Senior Project

   Two words, thirteen letters and one very big meaning. The Senior Project is one of the most important requirements in order for graduation.
    The deadline for the Senior Project proposal is November 30, but some students are still confused on what they’ll focus their project on.

Pumped Up for Powder Puff

   Powder Puff is a time for the girls to switch places with the boys on the football field and work together with their class to reach a common goal.
   This year’s Powder Puff game is set to take place on Wednesday, November 7th.

PSSA to Keystone Tests

    Preparing for the standardized tests known as the PSSAs has become a norm for all juniors of PA.

   These one-size-fits-all tests evaluate what a student is academically capable of; the tests aren’t looking for the best scores, but just a standard.

No Privacy in Technology

   With technology constantly growing, privacy seems to be a thing of the past. 
   The phone company, Verizon, recently admitted that they track what sites and apps their customers use.  They now join the ranks of other companies like Apple, AT&T and Sprint, who have also admitted to tracking customers.

College Applications

   The saying 'Tis the season' is flowing through the guidance office as counselors Mrs. Laura Klipa and Mrs. Debbie Rietski are in the process of helping students apply for college.
   "Of the 56% of graduating seniors that plan to go to college, we are seeing 25-30% of the applications," Mrs. Klipa said.

A New Age of Bullying

   Home used to be the safest place in the world, but for cyber bullied subjects, the nightmare continues.

Winter Sports Preview

   Fall sports have concluded, the calendar is now entering the winter months and a new season of sports are about to begin.
   Winter sports are trying to follow up on a productive season last year but that doesn’t change the expectations.
